New Applewood Pointe communities
As of 2019, there are close to 140 cooperatives in Minnesota. Of those, Ternes Realty Group is most familiar with the Applewood Pointe brand. Currently there are 14 active Applewood Pointe communities in Minnesota along with 4 more that are either nearing completion or are in the final reservation process. All of these Applewood Pointe communities have been developed by United Properties ensuring high standards and quality.
The Applewood Pointe development team has done an amazing job and have created the top tier of senior cooperatives. Every time a new Applewood Pointe project is started, it seems was though they find a way to raise the bar again and improve some aspect of the previous communities.
When you buy into a new community, you get to choose your floor plan, the equity level and equity tier. You can also customize many of the finish options along the way. Like any new home, this can be a fun and exciting process. To guide you through each step, Applewood Pointe has marketing associates that work out of various offices in the metro area. They are all friendly, well trained and knowledgeable about each community.

How can we help you in this process?
As of 7/1/19, we have assisted 33 families who have purchased brand new Applewood Pointe homes as described above. In doing so, we did not act as their agents nor get paid a commission when they purchased their new Applewood Pointe homes. Instead, we represented them through the sale of their existing single family homes. While doing this, we typically spent 75% of our time focused on the sale of their current homes and 25% discussing general topics about Applewood Pointe.
Many of our clients appreciated this experience and felt that it made them better prepared as they made the transition from the homes they were selling to their new homes at Applewood Pointe.
Building a new Applewood Pointe community, is an involved and rather lengthly process. As they near completion, new home owners are given a window of time to move in. If this is a two month window, we will coordinate the sale of your home to best fit your needs. If a different time frame is best for you, then we can assist you with a bridge loan that will still allow you to close inside the required window for your new Applewood Pointe home, but will delay the sale of your current home if needed.
